Down Home Story: Part One

Ok Party people, we are going to have to break this past weekend down into a few posts. There is a ton of stuff to get to. When we got to town, we went to see my Mama at work in town and then headed out to the farm. There were lots to see and Addison was very excited!

Babe and Grey were closest to the car so we stopped to visit them first.

Then it was off to find the Chickens.

 This little black one was Addisons favorite

 They also have some baby "chuckers"

 After some playing outside, we headed in and Grandma helped Addison make some fresh eggs for lunch

 Gotta crack it on the side

 Then put your thumbs in

 Grandma had to get a few pieces of shell out

 Such a great cook

 Laney excaped the heat by sittin with
Papa

 We went back out for breakfast the next day so Addison had to go find her little black chicken. So cute

 This time it was Laneys turn to pet Babe and Grey

 Didnt take long for Addison to convince Grandma to put up the swing.

 She will spend hours in here if she could

 Carl helped Addison feed the horses, but she wasnt too sure about it.
