Yesterday we got to meet up with my Aunts and Cousins at the Denver Zoo. I was beyond excited for this trip, I just knew that Addison was really going to love it. The movie Madagascar has been playing at our house and she was excited to see real life animals! After a bit of car trouble early in the morning, we were finally on our way. I left Addison in the hands of my family and went to pay for my entrance. When I got back, my kid looked like this:
Aunt Jerri had surprised her with these adorable accessories! This is going to be a good day.
Remember when I said that Addison LOVES to climb? Well, if you were hoping to see pictures of animals in this post, my apologies. The only animal besides an elephant I captured on film is the Monkey we brought with us. She climbed on everything.
Mostly she wanted to climb on her own but sometimes you just need a bit of help
Delaney got in on the climbing action too.

There wasnt just climbing, there was twirling
swinging
Drumming
and ICE CREAM
We had a lovely picnic in a park, the weather was perfect for our Zoo day. It started out a bit chilly but we were happy with the cloud cover.
Holly found this sign as we were about to leave, clearly Addison cant read.
And before I get any emails or text messages about the safety of my kid, please remember that there were 6 adults looking after her at all times. I even came prepared with a kid leash.
And her outfit worked perfectly
